“At that time the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jephthah, and he went throughout the land of Gilead and Manasseh, including Mizpah in Gilead, and from there he led an army against the Ammonites.”
‭‭Judges‬ ‭11:29‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Lord, Jephthah went from hanging out with riff-raff to becoming a great leader who recruited an army, fought for a nation and won. Yeshua, I pray for our children that ;
1. The Spirit of the Lord will come on them and do what only Yeshua can do in their lives.
2. I pray for spiritual growth and maturity
3. Their circle of influence would be such that they surround themselves with those instrumental to the fulfilment of divine purpose of establishing God’s Kingdom here on earth, in our communities, families, schools, work place.
4. I pray that despite their beginning, Lord that you would give them a good end.
5. I pray that unlike Abimelech who was treacherous and murderous filled with hatred, our children will partner with heaven so divine purpose will be fulfilled.

Jephthah was good at rallying men together for a cause. He did so in the battle against the Ammonites and again when fighting against the men of Ephraim. Lord, I pray that;
6. Our children will successfully rally people round the most important cause there this - establishing your Kingdom here on earth
7. Our children are leaders with wisdom and integrity, that they take the time to learn and grow in the things of the Lord
8. You would pour your truth into their heart and let it reside there. Each child will be confident in the truth and would not depart from it.
When her son was born, she named him Samson. And the Lord blessed him as he grew up. And the Spirit of the Lord began to stir him while he lived in Mahaneh-dan, which is located between the towns of Zorah and Eshtaol.”

Yahweh, it’s amazing how You permitted your Spirit to stir the heart of young Samson. Destiny was brewing in his heart. Father I pray for our children too...
9. Bless our children, in all their endeavours, everywhere they go, let them be blessed. Let them find favour in your sight and in the sight of men
10. Father let your Spirit stir the hearts of each one of these children, right from the womb, to the day they depart this earth, let your Spirit stir them into action.
11. Father if there be any evil deposits from the world on our children that incurs a curse, or that brings about demonic attacks, Yeshua, I ask that the  same resurrection power that raised You from the grave would rise up and speak for them and break every curse, every stronghold, destroying every scheme of the enemy against their lives.

Samson’s parents were told the purpose of their son’s life and the conditions and parameters within which he should raised. Interestingly, breaking those very things brought about the defeat of the Philistines. Samson, killed more Philistines in his death than in his life time. It’s a bit difficult to take, but one must always consider things from God’s perspective. Yeshua, I pray;

12. Our children will be obedient to the leading to the Holy Spirit. That things would end well for them, that the purpose of their lives will be fulfilled. That every detail, every hurt, betrayal, would work out for divine purpose in Jesus name
13. I pray for their parents, father that You would grant them revelation of who their children are and what they are called to be. Father reveal the parameters with which they should live their lives... Open their eyes to the truth of who they are raising... and to honour that call to parent them on your behalf.
14. Father I pray for the grace, wisdom and discernment to teach these children and introduce them to You. Help me to never shrink back from this call or to treat it with disdain. Father, I offer myself as a vessel to be used by You in their lives.
